You will serve as a Maintenance Management Specialist at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. In this developmental position you will have many opportunities to learn and gain experience through formal and on-the-job training which will acquaint you with the policies, methods and techniques peculiar to a position characterized by knowledge and skill requirement of a materiel maintenance program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify for the GS-07 Level: your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: maintaining supply and logistics data in an automated system to support mission objectives. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) assisting in determining the range and quantity of support items required to maintain the assigned Line Replaceable Units; (2) applying Federal supply laws and regulations in the maintenance of the logistics database; (3) researching reference numbers (commercial and government entity and part number) to convert to federal government number assignments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education for GS-07: One
full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the
knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the

OR
Superior Academic Achievement (SAA): Successful completion of a bachelor's degree gained in any field AND SAA. The SAA is based on: (1) Class Standing - must be in the upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, based on completed courses; OR (2) Grade Point Average (GPA) - A GPA of either (a) 3.0 or higher of a possible 4.0 as recorded on official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during final 2 years of curriculum; or (b) 3.5 or higher of a possible 4.0 based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses completed during the final 2 years of curriculum.; OR (3) Honor Society Membership - membership in one of the approved national scholastic honor societies listed by the Association of College Honor Societies (https://www.achsnatl.org).
Combine Experience/Education at GS-07:
To compute your experience percentage, divide total months of
experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate
semester hours by 18. Add the two percentages and the total must be at
