    About the Position:
    CECOM is The Critical Link that ensures the global readiness of the complex, networked C4ISR systems and capabilities that provide our joint forces with the advanced information and technology they need to communicate on today's battlefield. CECOM adapts, strengthens and sustains the critical C4ISR systems that joint warfighters rely on - allowing them to operate, fight and win anywhere, against any foe, at any moment.
    U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command's (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland with activities located at Fort Belvoir, Fort Hood, Fort Huachuca, and Logistics Assistance Representatives stationed in eight countries. The ILSC mission is to provide global C4ISR logistics support to the warfighter and coalition forces, in a timely, cost-effective manner. The ILSC prepares, sustains and resets the nation's Armed Forces before, during and after combat operations and deployments. This mission is accomplished through rapid acquisition, maintenance, production, fielding, new equipment training, operation and sustainment of CECOM equipment. The ILSC provides the Army with the communications and electronic systems that enable tanks, planes, helicopters, ships, satellites, and missiles to talk to each other and dominate the battlefield.

    You will serve as a Maintenance Management Specialist at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. In this developmental position you will have many opportunities to learn and gain experience through formal and on-the-job training which will acquaint you with the policies, methods and techniques peculiar to a position characterized by knowledge and skill requirement of a materiel maintenance program. Assignments are progressively difficult and are designed to prepare the incumbent for more difficult and responsible work at the intermediate and ultimately the journeyman level.

    These positions are bring filled under the Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions in accordance with 10 USC § 1705 (g).

    Responsibilities

    As a developmental Maintenance Management Specialist, you will assist in performing duties such as:

    • Interface with contractors, Program Managers (PMs), Integrated Logistics System (ILS) managers, maintenance engineers and other functional regarding provisioning actions;
    • Assist in review of drawings or engineering data in relation to provisioning/Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) requirements;
    • Review contractor deliverables of RPSTL as required to support and field assigned items;
    • Develop and produce RPSTLS to support mission requirements.
