    This position is located within the Office of Grants and Contracts, in Washington DC, District of Columbia.

    As the Contract Specialist you will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Conduct, administer, coordinate and manage the full range of contract actions, including solicitation development, cost and price analysis, negation, award administration and close-out.
    • Work independently on a full range of contract requirements associated with the purchasing of agency supplies and services, from simple commodities to the complex research/IT service requirements.
    • Utilize various procurement systems such as Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps), System for Award Management (SAM), Federal Procurement Database System (FPDS), General Services Administration General Schedules, to accomplish assignments.
    • Develop and implement internal contracting operating procedures.
