This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D0849000 in SPMD 4740 and is part of the MO TASMG Shop.

APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This position is a Temporary Reimbursable vacancy NTE One Year vacancy in the Excepted Service. Employment can be terminated at any time. This position can be filled up to four years as long as funds are available to support it. In the event a permanent (Tenure 1 or 2) employee is selected, and is willing to accept the temporary appointment, that employee will relinquish permanent status. Under a temporary appointment, the employment is subject to termination at any time. This is a bargaining unit position.

Performs routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy. Plans requirements, both quantitative and monetary, to satisfy customer needs. Authorizes procurement and is responsible for funds management. Responsible for limited aspects of storage management. Performs other duties as assigned.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or termination.
