· Serve as a first-level supervisor for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Branch
· Promotes and enables research across the physical sciences, chemistry, and biology with the aim of developing innovative synergistic strategies that enable radically enhanced capabilities, including performance and operational efficiency for future U.S. Air Force systems

Specialized Experience:
I have at least 52 weeks (1 year) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the DR-03/GS-14 grade level or higher grade within the Federal Civil Service, non-federal, military service, or private industry, or equivalent under other pay systems.
Specialized experience is experience in scientific research in support of defense related areas of interest including, but not limited to, directed energy; Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance; human performance; biological, and/or sustainment and multi-functional applications.
Education Qualification:
1301-Principal Physical Scientist
A) At least a bachelor degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
