In addition, in order to be qualified at the GS-09 level, you must possess one of the following:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service, performing the following: Assist with conducting habitat restoration and monitoring activities associated with coastal restoration projects and dam removals; working with higher level biologist to assist with the design, planning and inspection of projects; working collaboratively with private and public landowners regarding all aspects of fish and wildlife habitat management of their property.
Possess a Master's or higher degree in biological sciences, natural resource management, or a related field which provided me with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position. -OR-
Possess a combination of experience as described above and graduate education as described above which,when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
In addition, in order to be qualified at the GS-11 level, you must possess one of the following:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service, performing the following: Assist with conducting habitat restoration and monitoring activities associated with coastal restoration projects and dam removals; assisting with the preparation of site surveys and design plans, assisting with planning and inspection of projects; providing technical assistance to private and public landowners regarding all aspects of fish and wildlife habitat management of their property.
Possess a PhD in the biological sciences, natural resource management, or a closely related field which provided me with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position. -OR-
Possess a combination of experience as described above and graduate education as described above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
