This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled in any of the following series, GS-0101, GS-0401, GS-0810, or GS-1301, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Serves as the Water Management Goal Project Manager overseeing the implementation of the Water Management Goal for the San Joaquin River Restoration Program (SJRRP) and directing and managing Restoration Program activities in support of implementing Reclamation’s responsibilities.
-Formulates the Program's Water Management Goal activities, including budgets, project activities and activity planning, and policies and procedures.
-Functions as Reclamation's specialist and lead coordinator for the formulation, evaluation, selection, and implementation of actions required to meet the Water Management Goal of the Settlement.
-Establishes and maintains liaison with the many Federal, State, public, and private agencies and individuals interested and involved in the Restoration Program's Water Management Goal.
-Plans, schedules, assigns, sets, and adjusts short-term priorities for Water Management Goal activities within established resources and program requirements. Serves as a first-level supervisor.
