    For EHA Positions:
    These positions are being filled under Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions and Health Care Occupations. The Secretary of the Air Force has delegated authority by the Office Of the Secretary of Defense to directly appoint individuals to select defense acquisition workforce positions, or 'EHA Acquisition,' pursuant to the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and certain health care occupations, or 'EHA Medical.' Positions are located Air Force-Wide. Positions may be filled as permanent or term with a full-time or part-time work schedule. Pay will vary by geographic location.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide direction and guidance to flight chiefs in formulating Civilian Career Enhancement Plans. Establish and maintain a cohesive integrated Civilian Personnel Training Program.
    • Review all Test program documentation and participates in periodic reviews of all test programs conducted in the Squadron.
    • Assure that required test results are obtained and that economy, feasibility and desirability of projects are in the best interests of the Air Force and DoD. Implement changes when required.
    • Exercise technical leadership of assigned high level personnel. Serve as an expert consultant to the Air Force, DoD and other agencies on all matters related to track and test.
