This position is located within the Office of the Managing Director in the Office of Human Resources (OHR) in Washington, DC. The primary function of this position is to serve as a Human Resources Specialist performing a broad range of human resources 'generalist' functions, to include operational and policy work, with primary responsibility for the agency security and suitability program. You will also be cross-trained and support other HR functional areas to broaden your knowledge base and provide back-up to other HR specialists. Additionally, the OHR is actively engaged with numerous employee engagement activities and helps lead the way in making the FMC the BEST place to work.
