Our Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army's mission. Oahu is the 3rd largest island in the Hawaiian chain. It is home to about three fourths of the state's population. Honolulu is the state capitol and the 11th largest U.S. metropolitan city. Waikiki, the most world-renowned site in Oahu, is the top visitor destination of the state. The island is very geographically diverse with mountains, rainforests, volcanic craters, tropics, beaches and more.

This position is located at the Nehelani Banquet and Conference Center,Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. This is an Open Continuous announcement and the following cutoff dates will be applied for referral: 20 Jun, 21 Jun, 30 Jun, 10 Jul, 17 Jul, 28 Jul, 4 Aug, 18 Aug, and 1 Sep 17. Position IS entitled to 11.32% COLA (Island of OAHU). Hours may include nights, weekends, holidays and all shifts.

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is applicants currently on the island of OAHU to include Spouse Employment Preference(SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference(ISMP) personnel relocating to the island within 30 days.


Prepares contracts for private functions, using established costs. Orders flowers, decorations, etc.
Prepares all related invitation orders, party work sheets and contracts.
Assists patrons with time schedules for weddings and other formal functions.
Analyzes requirements of the occasion and recommends suitable services, menus and beverage items.
Coordinates with club manager, food service staff and patrons.
Draws up contracts making commitment for requested functions.
Serves as technical advisor on correct protocol procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
