This position is a Program Support Manager (Supervisory Program Analyst) in the Engineering Directorate (ENG), Civil Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI). Through the combined use of robust, proven and innovative managerial techniques, the Program Support Manager (PSM) is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the Division's program-related workload. The PSM, along with the Program Support Team that this position would supervise and be responsible for, will perform and manage the full range of business activities involved in the review and funding of scientific research proposals. Working together, the PSM and his/her team ensures effective end-to-end administrative management of this process to accomplish NSF's scientific mission.
NSF is relocating to Alexandria, Virginia. In late summer of 2017, NSF will begin the transition from its current location in Arlington, VA to 2415 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22314. The new location is adjacent to a Metro station (Eisenhower Avenue on the Yellow Line) and there is ample parking in the area. There are several amenities nearby, such as restaurants, hotels, and shops.

This position is located in the Division of Civil Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI) of the Engineering (ENG) Directorate. The incumbent manages a program support team and is responsible for managing the workload, resources, operational procedures, policies and functions of the Division. The duties of a Program Support Manager include:
