The following are the duties of this position at the GS-15. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As a Supervisory International Economist, you will:
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Applicants for this position must meet the following BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
A. Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university that met all of that institution's requirements for a bachelor's or higher degree with a major in economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.

B. A combination of education and experience -courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

Ranking Factor 3: Oral and written communication skills evidenced by the ability to deliver clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal factual and analytical presentations to a variety of audiences. Significant demonstrable experience in both oral and written communication.
