NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED: This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible assignment in the Missouri Air National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an Excepted Service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Administers refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record. Interviews instructors, pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other assigned AOC personnel to determine operational background in their respective weapons systems/specialties. Performs as instructor and/or examiner; evaluates and examines AOC personnel to determine preparation for the application of aerospace force/operations, proficiency during actual operations, instructional ability, and technical competence; and conducts post operations critiques. Develops and instructs specific courses in all AOC phases of operations. Evaluates formal training directives, and develops course changes, new materials, new training systems, and new methods. Maintains a thorough knowledge of a variety of specialties to include general and advanced knowledge of AOC assigned weapons systems, U.S. and allied aircraft, space weapons systems, tactical employment of weapons systems, search and rescue, theater missile defense and air tasking order development and execution. Coordinates, plans, and executes Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and Reachback operations. Conducts Command and Control over all subordinate elements of the Theater Air Control System (TACS), including airborne and ground based sensors. Plans and executes datalink operations critical to maintaining and synchronizing situational awareness in multiple theaters. Performs other duties as assigned.

General Experience: Must possess experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures. Experience using computer and automation systems.
