The duties of the Supply Clerk (Vending) includes, but are not limited to: Vending Machines Stock Controls Cash Controls
Conducts daily inspections of assigned machines to ensure machines are operable and adequately stocked and clean;
Restock all machines as required;
Ensures machines are functioning properly after each restocking;
Records meter reading from each machine;
Contacts vendors for necessary repairs;
Monitors temperature of refrigerated machines; and,
Replenishes supply items (condiments, utensils, napkins, etc.) as required.
Maintains an ample supply of on hand vending products at all times;
Prepares merchandise transfer forms for transfer of merchandise to other department/stores;
Reviews invoices to assure the quantity/quality of merchandise received;
Inspects merchandise for damage and records findings; and,
Conducts monthly stock inventories and submits findings.
Verifies withdrawals of all cash from vending machines;
Replenishes coins in the bill changer for assigned change fund and maintains an adequate coin level for each machine;
With a management or designated official, verifies meter reading for each machine and conducts required reconciliations, ensuring all monies are properly accounted and sales journals balance; and,
Prepares and submits reports associated with cash handling and assumes accountability of assigned vending machines.
Physical Requirements:
The position requires lifting boxes, which can weigh up to 40 pounds; pushing and pulling heavy carts, loading and unloading vans, driving a vehicle and exposure to all types of weather.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions.
2. Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds with reasonable accommodation if requested.
3. Ability to handle cash with accuracy.

5. Ability to manage inventory and stock and restock products.
