MAJOR DUTIES: GS-07 (D1235000) - Incumbent serves and provides technical and administrative support for the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Manager and specialist(s). Prepares consolidated reports identifying cases and status. Administers the EEO automated systems, processes reports, extracts data base in proper format, analyzes computer printouts, receives and reviews quarterly computer output, identifies problem areas, determines trends, and recommends or takes corrective action. Receives calls and visitors to the office and identifies the nature of the visit. Serves as the point of contact for the HRO bulletin, supply accounts and purchases to ensure sufficient funding and prudent utilization of supplies and funds.
MAJOR DUTIES: GS-09 (D0386000) - Serves in planning and implementation of a Statewide equal employment opportunity program. Assists in the development and implementation of the National Guard Bureau Equal Opportunity Program at the State level. Conducts periodic analysis of the Active/Guard Reserve (AGR) military technician workforce to identify underrepresented classes in the various occupations and military grades/ranks. Assists in the management of the State EEO complaints processing system. Participates in meetings with community action organizations interested in improving equal employment opportunity relationships.
