INDIAN PREFERENCE: Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC, Section 472). - Develops training products in accordance with project plan, established national interagency procedures, standards and management objectives.
- Collaborates with the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) staff, NWCG committees and subgroups, and a wide range of wildland fire subject matter experts.
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, and provides personal leadership and guidance to interagency workshops, task forces, committees, subject matter experts, contractors, and others involved in NWCG Training Development.
- May present fire training as a basic and/or lead instructor.
Occasional travel - Travel is required for field visits, to attend trainings, conferences, and workshops.
