This position is located in the Human Capital Operations Division. The incumbent of this position serves as a Junior Human Capital Assistant, providing a range of Human Capital (HC) technical and administrative support to the team and assigned organizations. Functions include personnel action processing, recruitment and placement, position management, classification, compensation, employee relations, and operational performance management.
Principal Duties:
Applicants may qualify at the PG-07 grade level if they meet the following specialized experience identified below:
Specialized Experience for the PG-07 Grade Level:
One year of specialized experience at the PG-06 (or equivalent) level or higher. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: coding and processing a variety of personnel actions in an automated HR payroll/personnel system (EmpowHR or similar); responding to applicant questions concerning the application process, status of applications, etc., in an automated HR System (i.e. USA Staffing or similar); coordinating pre-employment process requirements for new-hires and re-hires, arranging background screening, screening pre-employment forms for accuracy and completeness; and establishing and maintaining electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs).
