    This position is located at the Wind River Service Unit, Indian Health Service, Fort Washakie, WY and reports to the Behavioral Health Director.
    DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY JOB OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: These positions are eligible to be filled through Office of Personnel Management's delegated Direct Hire Authority [DHA]. The Direct Hire Authority has been authorized by the Homeland Security Act of 2002 and Part 337, Subpart B, Title 5 of the Code of Federal Regulations [5 CFR]. If filled utilizing DHA, the following is applicable: all applicants who meet the basic qualification requirements will be forwarded to the Selecting Official for consideration.     • Assess, plan, and provide comprehensive and therapeutic medical mental health care to individual, geriatric, adolescent, and pediatric patients and their families.
    • Prescribe appropriate medications and provide ongoing monitoring of medication effectiveness (adjusting if necessary).
    • Consultation to medical providers and other entities on the proper use of psychotropic medications.
    • Provide a multidisciplinary bridge between medical and behavioral health staff.
