1) Reviews existing stock catalogs, drawings, etc., for the purpose of identifying duplicate items already cataloged or otherwise recorded in the supply system.
2) Assures production support for items requiring special handling. Maintains contact with program representatives and other offices on special program requirements. Reviews requisitions, supporting documents, and reference material to determine special supply action required. Expedites the delivery of urgently required items. Coordinates supply actions with transportation and other supply units or organizations.
3) Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, equipment, forms, and publications. The work includes requirements determination and forecasting, distribution or redistribution of material, procurement authorization, and limited funds management.
4) Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
This position is being announced in accordance with state merit promotion procedures and collective bargaining agreement. Wearing of the appropriate military uniform is required while employed in this position. Permanent change of duty station (PCS) funds are not available.
If you are an AGR and are selected for this position, you will be required to vacate your AGR status.
Successful applicant will be assigned to a compatible military position in an appropriate unit of assignment in the Ohio National Guard.

Specialized Experience(GS-2005-06): Must have at least 9 months of experience, education, or training which demonstrates knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment; experience conducting searches for required information; reconstruct records for routine supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts; experience performing routine aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management.
Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience Completion of 2 academic years of education in an accredited college or university will satisfy the requirements for GS-4 positions. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience for GS-5 positions.
***If serving under an incentive contract, termination of that incentive(s) will occur effective one day prior to your AGR, Permanent Military Technician, or Indefinite Military Technician start date. Temporary Military Technicians will have their incentive terminated if their tour exceeds 179 days in a continuous 12-month period.***
