About the Position:
In this position you will serve as a Hydrologist with the US Army Geospatial Center in Alexandria, VA.
This is a permanent position.
This position will be filled at the GS-07 level only. The full performance level of this position is GS-11.
Noncompetitive promotion potential to target grade. This recruitment provides promotion opportunity to the target grade of the position without further competition when selectee is eligible and recommended by management.

In this position you will serve as a Hydrologist for the US Army Geospatial Center in Alexandria, VA. You will utilize hydrology, hydrogeology (ground water) and Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing and imagery analysis; database management, data dissemination and data visualization. You will utilize enterprise geo databases providing water resource support and service. You will analyze hydrologic or hydrogeologic modeling and fracture trace analysis. You will provide rapid, geospatial, direct support to DoD elements for water resource Requests for Information (RFI's) in support of Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) DoD water resources.
