will perform such duties as:
Processing requests to purchase a wide
variety of office and law enforcement equipment, supplies, and services by
reviewing the request for completeness and accuracy, ensuring available funds,
determining the appropriate purchase method; Independently performs the full range of
purchasing tasks pertaining to specialized requirements, such as negotiating
price with a sole source vendor, persuading reluctant vendors to bid, and
collecting data to determine price reasonableness for requirements not acquired
previously or recently; processes purchase requests through delivery orders,
government purchase card, purchase orders, blanket purchase agreements, and memoranda
of understanding; analyzes proposals for conformance to solicitation
instruments. Reviewing documentation such as justification for other than
full an open competition and prepares appropriate supplemental documentation.
