About the Position:
Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
Duty Location: This position is located at the Evans Army Community Hospital, Ft Carson, CO.
Fort Carson, CO: Ft. Carson combines scenic beauty, pleasant residential areas, and cultural activities to satisfy every taste. It is an unusually well-rounded military community which offers a variety of recreational and cultural opportunities. World-class ski resorts are available within a short 2 1/2 hour drive, golf courses and biking trails are available on the installation as well as in the surrounding community. Numerous colleges and universities are available for continuing education.
May be required to work different shifts. Is subject to standby or call-back duty as the need arises.

As a Physician (Urologist), you will:
- Perform various tests to include, but not limited to urinalysis (both dipstick and microscopic), microscopic evaluation of semen evaluating for spermatozoa, and other urologic related tests.
- Review all outstanding labs and results, and telephone consultations with patients and telemedicine consultations (telephone, telemedicine, or on-line) with other healthcare providers for both urgent and non-urgent concerns.
- Administer and/or prescribes special medications needed for treatment.
- Train and supervise residents, interns, and other PA students.
