About the Position:
The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster stricken areas throughout the US. Employees must pass a stringent medical screening and be prepared to live and work in extremely austere conditions. Work schedule will initially be arduous, with much overtime. Sleeping arrangements may be limited to using a sleeping bag or in the vehicle used to move from location to location. The duty station for pay purposes for these positions is Kennewick, WA with possible 75% or Greater Business Travel in various locations throughout the US.

Provides expert advice on affirmative employment for minorities and women. Interprets laws, regulations, executive orders and other issuances related to the Affirmative Employment Program. Develops US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) procedures and reporting requirements to comply with requirements. Plans, and reviews a management oriented affirmative employment program for minorities and women, which includes efforts to resolve systemic EEO problems. Analyzes patterns of utilization of minorities and women. Conducts on-site staff assistance visits and program evaluation inspections to determine and advise on compliance with requirements. Directs and evaluates the USACE Federal Women's Program (FWP). Recommends the levels of staffing and funds to be devoted to the program.

Experience required:
