    Summary

    This position has promotion potential to the GS-11 grade level. If selected below the full performance level, incumbent may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.

    The selectee for this position serves as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Materiel Support and Planning Department of Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia.

    Responsibilities

    ·         Distribute and balance the workload among employees to assure timely accomplishment of assigned workload.

    ·         Participate in development of training materials for users of new automated systems.

    ·         Provide on the job training to mew employees in accordance with established procedures and practices.

    ·         Prepare assigned segments of reports and charts to document study purposes, methods, premises, and conclusions.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding.
