About the Position:
Duty location: You will be working in Department of Surgery, Orthopedic Service in Fort Carson, CO.
Work is subject to rotating shifts and/or irregular tour of duty to include weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

As a Physician Assistant, you will:
Perform varied duties requiring many different and unrelated processes and methods applied to a broad range of medicine in the pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the specialty of orthopedics.
Make independent clinical evaluations and recommendations in an effort to prevent complications by preventing disease occurrence or modification of its course.
Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
Adjust regimen within established protocols recognizing when to refer the patient to the attending physician.
Provide a full range of emergency services or crisis intervention in the absence of the attending physician.
