You will serve as a Project Manager responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects. You will also serve as the leader of a project delivery team (PDT), and you will be responsible for ensuring that assigned project work is executed within applicable authority, policy, regulations, budgets, guidelines, and supervisory direction. You will coordinate with PDTs (i.e., planning, design, cost engineering, construction, real estate, contracting, etc.) to plan projects and prepare estimates of scope, schedule, budget, and resources to deliver essential products and services according to commitments. You will also perform the following:

  • Control and manage project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations
  • Participate in District programming decisions affecting long and short range courses of action for assigned projects
  • Monitor obligations and expenditures schedules to ensure maximum use of available funds
  • Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental restoration, etc., for engineering projects
  • Serve as the District's primary point of contact for projects assigned with sponsor/customer; Federal, state, and local government agencies; Congressional interests; other external organizations; and higher authorities
  • Travel Required
