The following are the duties of this position at the GS-07. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
-Processing a range of actions, including those that have unusual conditions or issues requiring deviation from standard procedures to complete the action.
-Performing detailed review of records and other documentation, preparing and presenting summaries of information for further analysis and processing.
-Responding to inquiries concerning HR entitlements and services, processing procedures, alternatives, and requirements, and provides other information depending on the nature of the issue, organization serviced, status of the requestor and similar factors.
-Identifying and resolving procedural issues involving consideration of variables that would affect the determination of appropriate action.
-Participating in system testing. Providing feedback regarding defects, to improve system functionality and data integrity.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
