This position is located at the VA Black Hills Health Care System (BHHCS), Hot Springs campus. Incumbent is the Program Assistant for the Primary Care Service Line and provides consistent support to ambulatory care, inpatient care, and other entities of primary care in relation to the total patient care program. He/she provides support to Primary Care services throughout VA Black Hills to include outlaying CBOCs. Incumbent is responsible for processing all financial documents. Incumbent will maintain comprehensive records of all expenditures and equipment requests. He/she will process incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication. Incumbent receives and screens telephone calls and visitors to the office, assists in coordinating clinics, serves as a timekeeper/alternate timekeeper; attends meetings, prepares minutes and follows up on action items. Incumbent will serve as ADPAC for the Primary Care Service Line. Travel to alternate sites will be required.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
