As a Store Associate, you will work
independently or as part of a team with routine commissary tasks. These may
include: assisting customers with prices or location. Operating an electronic
checkout system (cash register), and making correct change. Receiving change
fund and check cash drawer. You will perform a variety of duties involved in
the handling, preparing, and maintaining of stock levels of grocery and produce
items. Place stock on shelves or display counters. Participate in receiving,
storing, pricing, and displaying fruit, vegetable, working supplies and
equipment. Participate in conducting inventories and maintaining records of
orders, receipts, and sales. Ensure that all shopping areas are clean, neat and
safe. Receive Requisition Order Receipts from department managers to place
orders of commissary items with suppliers. Ensure that the register reflects
balances and adjustments. Receive and process a variety of accounting
documents, charge account requests, and dishonored checks.
