    The primary purpose of this position is to develop, review, coordinate and execute the unit's Emergency Management  (EM) program plan in support of DOD, Joint Service, Air Force, MAJCOM, Numbered Air Force, federal, state, and county plans in the area(s) of Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery.

    •Develops, coordinates, obtains approval, and publishes plans and procedures for implementation of unit policies and instructions relating to EM. Conducts unit EM assessment and interprets and analyzes assessment results.

    •Conducts initial and recurring training for functional areas of EM.   Collaborates with on/off-base units and agencies on installation EM programs, policies, and procedures.

    •Serves as a CBRN Response team member.  Executes established plans and procedures for emergency response actions.

    •Maintains Emergency Management response equipment, training resources, and supply inventories.  Represents 477th Force Support Squadron Commander and 477th Fighter Group Commander with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
