    This position is with the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Mission Support Team (MST), Human Capital Management (HCM), Human capital Advisory Services (HCAS) Directorate.  HCAS provides human capital planning and human capital management, and the full range of human resources management services. 

    The incumbent of the position serves as the OIG systems administrator for the time and attendance function of the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS) and as the OIG Payroll Liaison specialist in the office which manages the OIG's use of the DCPS. DCPS is an automated processing and management information system which supports manpower, personnel, payroll and related administrative management applications serving all OIG civilian employees.  He/She provides personnel advisory services to the OIG employees in the areas of payroll operations and personnel liaison functions.

    As a Customer Service Representative your duties will include, but are not limited to: 
    • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between OIG employees and benefits counselors at DFAS Human Resources Shared Services Center for all OIG employee benefits-related inquiries and issues.
    • Provide technical and timely customer advice to OIG employees in payroll.
    • Provide in-house training for OIG timekeepers, employees and supervisor.
    • Process missing time and attendance reports, creating/changing work schedules adding/deleting employees from time & attendance system.
    • Coordinates with appropriate points-of-contact to resolve all problems and to verify accuracy concerning conflicting information exists.
    • Analyzes pay and time and attendance related problem-trends and offers creative solutions for the elimination or reduction of similar future problems.

    Occasional travel - 10% of travel may be required
