Applicants may qualify for both grade levels of this position based solely on education, specialized experience, or a combination of education and specialized experience.
To qualify based solely on EDUCATION at the GS-09 Grade Level, an applicant must possess one of the following: Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LLB, or J.D., if related. OR An applicant can qualify through a COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE listed above.
To qualify based solely on EDUCATION at the GS-11 Grade Level, an applicant must possess one of the following: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR An applicant can qualify for the GS-11 level through a COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE listed above.
To qualify for the GS-12 level, a qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. You may not qualify on education alone at the GS-12 grade level.
