    This position is located in the Department of Technology Services (DTS), Cloud Technology and Hosting Office (CTHO) in Washington, DC.

    The incumbent of this position acts as the team lead for the Strategic Planning and Project Management Staff and will report directly to the office chief. As such, the incumbent shall provide leadership within the office for the development and maintenance of an overall strategic plan for the incorporation of cloud computing into the Judiciary's business processes and its transformation into a truly digital enterprise. This includes working with a diverse set of stakeholders within the Administrative Office, the Judiciary as a whole, other federal agencies, and the commercial sector. Additionally, the incumbent shall ensure that the portfolio of projects within the Cloud Technology and Hosting Office are in conformance with the Judiciary's defined IT project management framework, and that the project portfolio is in alignment with the office's strategic direction. 

    Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
    1. Overseeing the development and maintenance of the Judiciary's cloud computing strategic plan. Effectively engage stakeholders to elicit business objectives and use cases, and work with the CTHO management team to ensure the implementation of the plan in a systems hosting technology roadmap;
    2. Providing portfolio management oversight within the CTHO of its infrastructure and service improvement projects to ensure that cost and schedule objectives are being met and that the overall service implementation process is effective. Conducting monthly review meetings with senior CTHO management on select projects to monitor performance and ensure compliance with the agency's defined IT project management processes;
    3.  Engaging with government and industry representatives to maintain currency with cloud computing and systems hosting trends in the federal space. Attending and making effective, dynamic presentations at inter-agency working group meetings, judiciary related technical conferences, and other forums; and
    4. Providing oversight and direction to a team of contract staff in the support of the above duties.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Travel to San Antonio, TX on a periodic basis as well as circuit conferences is required.
