This vacancy is fora Geographer in the Center for Economic Studies (CES) located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland.

This position is ELIGIBLE for telework; additional criteria will be required (e.g., supervisory approval).

This is a BARGAINING unit position.
The individual selected for this position will:
- Develop and enhance of web-based, data visualization and dissemination products that entail mapping and reporting of employment and residential patterns at detailed geographic level as well as the linkages between home and work;
- Work with various areas of the Census Bureau to develop subsequent versions of data visualization/dissemination applications;
- Provide ongoing spatial/geographic subject matter expertise as well as design input and application testing feedback focused on continuous improvement of the visualization/dissemination applications; and
- Develop communication and training materials related to data visualization products.
