    In this position, you will become a key member of a team of dynamic and cutting edge professionals working to protect the nation's cyberspace.  Typical work assignments include: 

    • Providing support of ongoing IT projects and programs that have a significant impact on the delivery of National Security Systems.
    • Consulting with IT security experts in developing communications to inform customers, solve problems and instruct them in taking necessary actions for security compliance.
    • Providing advice relative to system security upgrades or enhancements.
    • Participating in projects to prototype and pilot new system security concepts and enhancements.
    • Assessing new systems security design methodologies to improve quality or compliance with policy.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Occasional travel may be required based on the position requirements and mission needs as determined by the DHS Component/Office
