In this position, you will become a key member of a team of dynamic and cutting edge professionals working to protect the nation's cyberspace. Typical work assignments include:
- Defining and managing information technology (IT) and cybersecurity related programs.
- Providing oversight to ensure program work is adhering to the larger strategic view developed by DHS.
- Recognizing need for changes based on new security technologies or cyber related threats.
- Developing long-range plans for IT security systems that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate and minimize risks associated with IT system vulnerabilities.
- Designing and developing new tools and technologies related to information security.
Occasional travel - Occasional travel may be required based on the position requirements and mission needs as determined by the DHS Component/Office
