The Horticultural Crops Research Unit is seeking a Research Associate (post doc) to develop new IPM for invasive insect pests on horticultural and nursery crops and will conduct research for 1) RNAi-based approach with identification of targets, RNA-seq, design, bioassay, screening, and evaluation of RNAi impacts, and/or 2) insect receptor-based approach with identification of GPCRs, functional expression, bioassay and screening.
Incumbent will publish and present research results on peer-reviewed papers at meetings, and work with a research team that conducts basic and applied research including semiochemicals and molecular research on diverse pests.
