This announcement is for temporary positions in the Engineering and Test Directorate. These temporary positions involve trainee-level work with oversight and guidance from experienced personnel and engineers. These positions will center on engineering exposure awareness to the SSC rocket test facilities, the operational aspects of rocket engine/component testing and the construction of facilities.

This position is part of the NASA Pathways Intern Program which is a formal training program. Participant completes assigned duties, tasks, readings, and developmental activities specified in the program. As an intern, students will be performing work task/assignments will focus around the following:
- Electrical Data, Instrumentation, and controls
- Installation, checkouts, Identification, and software implementation
- Mechanical system installation and operations and
- Construction engineering and construction management of facility build-up activities.
