As a Statistician in the Office of Data, Analysis, Research and Evaluation, (ODARE), Office of the Commissioner (OC), Administration on Children, Youth and Families (ACYF), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), you will research evaluate and analyze data.

  • Lead and/or assist with the analyses and interpretation of data from research and other reports and statistics obtained from multiple sources such as the Adoption and Foster Case Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS), the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS), Bureau of the Census, National Center for Health Statistics  and other administrative and survey sources.
  • Assist in the construction and management of administrative data sets.
  • Oversee quality control efforts related to the administrative data quality including the development and application of business rules, strategies and metrics to identify, monitor and correct data.
  • Analyze and prepare statistical and narrative reports on topics related to children and families and child welfare.
