This position is located in the Office of Research and Development, National Center for Environmental Assessment, National Center for Environmental Assessment- RTP in Durham, NC.

Duties

You will:

-Perform as a lead staffer on the Health and Environmental Research Online (HERO) team to develop and enhance the online database.

-Develop or refine the HERO database and implement technical information into the assessment process.

-Serve as a trainer, coach, and facilitator on technical information for internal and external customers.

-Perform database programming and work directly with computer and telecommunications specialists.

-Serve as a Project Officer and manage various contracts that support NCEA document production, information systems, and/or record keeping activities.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
