This recruitment is for one position with the Service Area Office (East), NCO 2.  Duty location to be determined after selection is made.

Supervisory Positions: The selectee will be subject to a one year probationary period if one has not  been previously completed.

Who May Apply:

Supervises a group of employees performing work at the GS-5 through GS-12/13. Some of the staff could be located virtually. Exercises supervisory authorities and responsibilities involving work assignment and review, as well as the administrative and personnel management functions relative to the staff supervised.  Conduct and administer training programs, develop and improve training guidance; Assign tasks to the team and track from receipt of procurement requests through contract close-out. Adapt analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and productivity. Advise technical personnel as to inadequate, ambigous, or vague specifications to avoid government liability. Resolve problems of delivery, producation, quality, differing site condition, inspections, and other pertinent matters.
