This position is located in the Circulation Branch of the Naval War College Library in Newport, RI. The incumbent of this position will perform all duties and procedures pertaining to circulation routines including charging and discharging of all types of library materials (books pamphlets, periodicals, reserve materials, and microforms).


1. Providing assistance and instruction in locating information and materials from the library collection by the use of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and Library Periodicals Holding List.

2. Assisting in maintaining the entire stack areas of the library.

3. Recommending priorities for the binding of library materials on the basis of available funds and importance to educational and research programs.
