This position also has a Selective Place Factor (SPF). Failure to possess the SPF will result in an ineligible rating. This is a Noncritical-Sensitive IT-II position. It meets one or more of the Category II AIS (Low/Moderate Risk) criteria of SECNAV M-5510.30, dtd June 2006, and if misused, has the potential of causing serious impact/damage to national security.

Selectee will be required to travel up to 60% of the time and for extended periods. Travel may be to ships at sea or shore-based activities in the continental US or overseas. Travel may require boarding military passenger-carrying aircraft. Selectee may be required to travel within a 24-hour notification.
