Division: Operational Technology Division

Unit: Data Intercept Technology

Location: Quantico, VA

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm


  • Serves as a senior specialist and/or project manager as required. Provides expertise necessary to solve complex problems that hinder the development or operation of the FBI's IT systems.
  • Provides technical advice to executive level managers based on a developed expertise in the field of IT.
  • Plans and conducts feasibility of user requirements for development of systems that will promote and update the FBI's long range strategy as well as IT utilization.
  • Executes, coordinates and monitors testing and implementation plans; conduct post implementation evaluations of IT systems to determine performance, adequacy and possible problem areas; apply quality assurance procedures to evaluate results; document system performance and validate data integrity; and draw conclusions regarding IT capabilities in order to improve work operations.
