incumbent serves as the Supervisor for the Military Trauma (PTSD Clinical
Team)/Military Sexual Trauma and Suicide Prevention Programs and for the
Psychologist assigned to Primary Care/Mental Health Integration and Traumatic
Brain Injury clinics at El Paso VA Health Care System. This position reports
directly to the Chief, Mental Health Service. Responsibilities are complex in
scope, involving administrative management of the programs, supervision of
multidisciplinary staff, coordination of all program elements, quality
improvement monitoring and data collection, and accreditation. These programs
are customer-service oriented, meeting a variety of emotional, psychological,
behavioral, interpersonal, and social needs of patients. These services
contribute significantly to the level of health care provided by this agency.
Decisions are made exercising very wide latitude and independent judgment.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:45 pm
