About the Position:
This position supports the Assessment/Selection Program in the Office of the Command Psychologist. This program provides psychological wellness screening, suitability determination, leadership development and command consultation services for student-recruiters attending various courses at the USAREC Recruitment and Retention School (RRS) and USAREC personnel assigned across this geographically-dispersed command.
The U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) is responsible for manning both the Active Army and the U.S. Army Reserve, ensuring security and readiness for our Nation. Recruiting operations are conducted throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and at U.S. facilities in Germany and Asia.

As a Clinical Psychologist with USAREC, you will:
- Conduct suitability assessments to determine appropriateness for type of duty assignment/job.
- Consult with health care providers from a wide range of specialties to ensure comprehensive medical care is provided.
- Define methodology to research psychological disorders or conditions.
- Provide training to psychologists in consultation, intervention, and/or assessment methods.
