This position is located in the Program and Business Analysis Department at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest in Coronado, California. Work includes analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organizations programs and administrative operations; implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organizations programs and activities.
- Monitor, gather and provide data, information and recommendations concerning funding estimates.
- Analyze and/or prepare a wide variety of progress and financial reports to determine trends in obligations, expenses and revenue.
- Examine program status to identify funding issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Effectively monitor plan versus expenditures to prevent cost overruns and identify deviations from plan to close out funding documents.
