Location: This position is within the National Acquisition Center, Federal Supply Schedule in Hines, IL.

Competitive Merit Promotion:

  • Transfer or Reinstatement eligibles: current Federal or former employees with career or career-conditional appointments in the competitive service that hold, or have held a career or career-conditional position at a lower grade level as the position being announced. An SF-50 must show appointment in the competitive service.
  • Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) eligibles.

Non-Competitive Merit Promotion:

  • ICTAP/CTAP eligibles

Major duties for this position include:

·         Report management, program support and service-wide electronic initiatives, including a focus on the facility’s current and “to be” business systems and processes, such as the way data is collected, stored, and disseminated within and external to the service. 

·         Designing, developing, analyzing, implementing and monitoring business procedures and processes related to commercial off-the-self software applications (e.g. Access, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)

·         Process analysis, statistical gathering and analysis, flow-charting, and preparing and maintaining technical documentation.

·         Managing databases, including implementing knowledge of programming techniques, systems analysis, and computer systems concepts and operations.
