We are the Department's contract manager, responsible for ensuring Federal acquisition programs, supplies, and services are delivered on time, within cost and meet performance requirements.

About the Position:

DCMA PATHWAYS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: The DCMA Pathways Internship Program is a streamlined program which replaces the Student Education Employment Program (SEEP), i.e., the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) and the Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP). The Program is designed to attract students enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions (high school, home-school programs, vocational and technical, undergraduate and graduate) with paid opportunities to work in agencies and explore Federal careers while still in school. This Program exposes students to jobs in the Federal civil service by providing meaningful developmental work at the beginning of their careers, before their career paths are fully established. The flexible nature of the Program also accommodates the need to hire students to complete temporary work or projects, perform labor-intensive tasks not requiring subject matter expertise, or to work traditional "summer jobs."

 

Work Schedule: Minimum of 16 hours per week with an average of 24 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Flexible hours and days depending on students class schedule). May be full-time on an as needed basis.

  • All U.S. Citizens in the Oklahoma City, OK local commuting area accepted for enrollment or enrolled and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) in a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis. You will be required to provide documentation to support your eligibility. See the "How to Apply" section for details.

NOTE: You must maintain student eligibility and enrollment for the duration of the internship. If you cannot, you are ineligible for this program. Please review the "REQUIREMENTS" section of this vacancy announcement to ensure you qualify for this internship.

NOTE: Upon successful completion of the internship and qualifying education, you may be converted to Career or Career-Conditional Appointment. However, there is no guarantee for conversion.
