As a Technical Information Specialist in the Division of Online Communications, Office of Communications, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), FDA you will develop, manage, and oversee complex web pages and web database development projects for the CDER internet and intranet sites.

  • Bridges information management and web technology to provide support to Center and Agency staff in the development and management of internal and external web sites.
  • Reviews, edits, and approves web page content.
  • Programs, designs, develops, and applies web technologies and database management software for information management, retrieval and delivery for web and mobile devices.
  • Develops, tests, and implements web and multimedia applications using HTML, XML, ColdFusion, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Receives, analyzes, negotiates and resolves web hardware and software problems, connectivity and user issues, systems security and clearance issues, as well as specific application problems.
